Chronoswiss Watch Flying Grand Regulator CH-6725-YEBK
A celebration of handmade guilloche, the Chronoswiss Flying Grand Regulator captures all attention with its shimmering effect yellow-coloured dial. Contrasting delightfully against the 44mm black DLC coated stainless steel case, the dial celebrates the centuries old technique of hand guilloche which involves using a machine operating on high amplitude and applies the unique pattern upon the surface in short lengths to create an iridescent chessboard effect.
The yellow and black galvanic dial retains the complex construction of all Chronoswiss Flying Grand Regulator watches with funnel-like construction for the hours and seconds display. The hours sits at 12 o’clock with the minutes classically at the centre in red and the retrograde small seconds at 6 o’clock, all signposted by Poire Stuart-shaped hands and powered by the Calibre C.678 manual winding movement. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the Chronoswiss Flying Grand Regulator reveals some of the 17 jewels and circular grained bridges of the movement which secures a power reserve of 46 hours. The movement is kept housed within the black DLC coated case which sits at 12.48mm high on the wrist beside the polished screw down bezel, onion-shaped crown water resistant to 30 metres and hand-sewn Hornback crocodile leather strap.
